ERC back to Norway?

The European Rallycross Champion, Sverre Isachsen, wants to drive in Norway. Next year it will probably happen.

The Norwegian round of the ERC was held at Lyngås, Sverre Isachsens home track outside of Drammen, for years. Then it moved to Momarken, but the last two years Norway has been out of the calendar.

And that’s of course a shame when you know that all the three European Champions in 2009 were Norwegians.

But for 2011 it seems that Norway again will be a part of the ERC, with a race in Lånke outside of Trondheim in the middle of Norway.

-The guys at Lånke has done a good job with preparing the track, and a FIA-inspector was at Lånke this summer. I think Lånke will host an ERC-round next year, Sverre Isachsen says.
