Nordic Champion!

Sverre Isachsen won todays race in Strängnäs, and also won the championship “Rallycross Norden”.

-I tried to save some money and drove on old tires. But I bought some new ones before the A-final, and then I was unbeatable, the 39 year old Norwegian says.

The First Stop sponsored driver started second in the A-final, but won in front of Stig-Olof Walfridsson and Michael Jernberg.

-It’s fun to win this championship, and I’m also leading the Norwegian Championship now. But I’m not sure if I can drive the last round in the Norwegian Championship at Lyngås. That depends if I’m going to race in the USA or not this fall. But the European Championship is the most important any way.

The next challenge for Sverre Isachsen now is the ERC-round in Poland September 12.
